Visiting Spark!

Spark! is open:
Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Closed Sundays and Mondays. -
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is located at:
5000 Greenbag Road
Mountaineer Mall
Morgantown, WV 26501Please note that the museum entrance is located on the outside of the mall and cannot be accessed from inside the building.

Free for children under 12 months
$10 for children (12 months and older)
$7.5 for adults
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Most visits last between one and two hours, though families are welcome to stay and explore at their own pace.

Spark! is designed for children ages 0–10, with experiences that support a variety of developmental stages and interests. Children should always be accompanied by an adult.

Free admission is available for:
Museums for All families (WIC and EBT cardholders) for up to six family members
Children receiving West Virginia Birth to 3 services during therapy sessions
Discounted admission is available for:
Members of the West Virginia Botanic Garden

Absolutely.
Spark! is designed to be an inclusive environment where children learn and explore in different ways. Families are welcome to move at their own pace, take breaks when needed.

Membership

Membership offers unlimited visits throughout the year and helps support Spark!'s mission of creating meaningful learning experiences for children and families across our community.
Members also receive additional benefits, including guest passes and discounts on birthday parties.

Yes. Gift memberships are available and make meaningful gifts for curious children and families.
Birthday Parties & Private Events

Yes! Birthday parties are available on Saturdays from 2:00–3:30 PM and include exclusive access to the museum, a party room, crafts, and return guest passes.

Our field trips provide hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and discovery.

Food & Practical Information

At this time, Spark! does not have a café or sell food and beverages.
Families are welcome to bring water and enjoy snacks or meals in designated areas. We ask that food and drinks remain outside exhibit spaces to help keep the museum clean and welcoming for everyone.
